Diego López: "We're going for the win at the Santiago Bernabéu"
The Valencia CF forward spoke to the media in a press conference
The 'Ninot' figurine for the LaLiga Matchday 9 meeting with Real Madrid has been revealed, with another unique design ready to be presented to the away side at Mestalla as part of the 'Sempre Falles' initiative. The club and the Valencia city council have been providing visibility to the work of artists affected by the cancellation of the local festivities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ninots have previously been handed to visiting representatives from SD Huesca, Real Betis and Getafe CF this season, and this time Real Madrid will be the recipients.
This weekend's design is from artist Juan Alberto Navarro from Alicante. Entitled ‘La Familia,’ it represents the Valencia CF family that come together to support their team, wherever they are in the world. The figure is a father with his son (wearing a Real Madrid kit) in his arms, showing the welcome given to all who visit Mestalla.
